UDIA National 2018

The 2019 UDIA National Awards For Excellence presented by Veris and Elton Consulting, held at the The Star Gold Coast last Thursday night, attracted forty-three finalists from across the country, and over 600 industry guests to the gala awards dinner at the conclusion of the UDIA National Congress. These awards recognise urban development projects that have excelled in innovation, sustainability and affordability, and have also won their respective category at a state level.
“Each year, we see the bar being raised, and our member's projects continue to achieve at an extraordinary level,” said UDIA Queensland CEO, Kirsty Chesser-Brown.
“We are extremely proud of all the winners, but particularly our Queensland winners. In an ever more difficult market, it is difficult to stand out from the crowd, so the fact that our state winners are going on to win at a national level as well, shows the quality of work coming out of the sunshine state.
“Congratulations to all who took home a trophy, and well done to all entrants and finalists.”
The National awards consist of nine categories, and the 2019 National Judges, Alan Zammit AM , Nicola Smith and Tony Marshall, said judging this year was extremely difficult to due to the high calibre of the projects.
