This award is designed to recognise a specialist consultant who demonstrates the application of an innovative and problem-solving practices and initiatives to a development challenge on a specific project.

The Judges reserve the right to give commendation awards out within this category and will do so based on the below sub-categories;

  • Architecture
  • Builder
  • Engineering
  • Planning
  • Technology and Innovation

Important Information

Projects eligible for this award must be submitted by a consultant who:

  • Hold a UDIA Victoria membership in FY25
  • Has a minimum of five years’ continual operation in the property industry or an associated industry (predominantly in Australia)
  • Has written consent from the developer of the project that is the subject of the submission, and uploaded onto Awards platform
  • This award is a Victorian Award only and not eligible for UDIA National Awards Program.

  • How has your consultancy demonstrated best practice that benefits the property industry?
  • Please outline the main points of innovation and/or difference exhibited by your consultancy?
  • Please outline the main challenges your team overcame

This award requires a written submission which will be judged based on the responses to the above items.

Following this our Judges will determine if a site visit is relevant or required to the workplace and/or if an interview and presentation component can take place elsewhere.

The interview and presentation will allow entrants the opportunity to demonstrate the application of an innovative and problem-solving practices and initiatives to a development challenge on a specific project.
