Property Development Essentials Course
This two-day course is delivered by industry experts and covers the full property development lifecycle; from acquisitions to due diligence, financing, sales and marketing and delivery. The course is regularly updated to respond to Victoria’s evolving policy frameworks and market forces.
Program Overview
The course equips professionals with the core knowledge and confidence needed to manage future projects more effectively. Participants will work in small groups of three or four to develop a due diligence report based on a real case study, deepening their understanding of the residential property development lifecycle and applying the practical concepts introduced throughout the program. Please note that completing the report will require a few hours of work outside the scheduled training sessions
Content is delivered in a small group setting to encourage participation and discussion. Each session is designed to provide a high-level introduction and view of high-level development concepts. Course presenters will provide an overview that empowers participants to ask questions of their project teams and consultants, and to understand the answers.
Course content is developed by UDIA members and managed by UDIA Victoria (the national peak body for the residential property development sector and a 40-year credible brand). The course is led by our UDIA Facilitator, Ken Munro and delivered by industry experts.
