Residential Development Award
Projects must have a coherent design with a relevant range of facilities within the development.

Overview
This award recognises low-density residential development, primarily land subdivision. Projects may comprise single storey, double storey detached, semi-detached and/or small-lot housing with private open space. Projects would not include a comprehensive range of facilities within the development but should have established a satisfactory relationship and integration with facilities nearby.
There are two awards in this category, the size of the project or stage within the project will dictate which of the following subcategories the project may enter:
- Residential development of more than 250 lots
- Residential development of 250 lots or fewer.
Important Information
- The winner of this award will have the opportunity to represent Victoria in the UDIA National Awards. In the event that there are two winners in this category, the National entrant will be decided by the judges.
- You must hold a developer level UDIA Victoria membership to enter your project into this category
- It is required that your project must be substantially developed by the time of judging or at least a component or stage of the project is substantially developed
- If you have a residential component to your project, the judging panel will need to be given access to the interior of at least one dwelling
