Andrea is a Director and leader at Tomkinson, a multi-disciplinary property services company with a team of 70 specialising in surveying, engineering, planning and project management.

Since the establishment of the UDIA Victoria Northern (Bendigo) Chapter committee in 2011, Andrea has been a dedicated member and has served as Chair since July 2015 to current date. Over that time, Andrea has led the committee through many of the issues facing regional development, including LGA strategic planning development and precinct-based outcomes, fire and vegetation management policy, native title challenges with land use activity agreements and CHMP issues, and water pricing plan submissions.

As a Planner by profession, Andrea has a significant understanding of the fabric that makes up regional communities and the ingredients of affordable deliverable housing that they rely on. These skills have also seen Andrea provide her input as a committee member of the Loddon Mallee Regional Development Australia Committee.

Andrea has also participated in several UDIA overseas study tours, where she is highly regarded as a cultural leader and ambassador of the group.

Her distinguished service to UDIA Victoria over many years has fortified her position as a leading female practitioner not only in Victoria’s northern region but across our state.
