Victorian Planning Provisions update - Head, Transport for Victoria now a referral authority

On 19 September 2017, Amendment VC132 to the Victorian Planning Provisions was gazetted.

From a transport perspective, the change was significant as the referral authority responsibilities formerly held by PTV were transferred to Head, Transport for Victoria. This new statutory office was established through an amendment to the Transport Integration Act 2010 earlier in the year.  It is supported by part of the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, called Transport for Victoria (TfV).

As part of the establishment of TfV, the public transport planning referrals team were transferred across from PTV.  Throughout the transition, the team has continued to provide advice on applications and amendments.

TfV asks that you update their contact details and most importantly, the addresses referrals are sent to, as outlined in this fact sheet.
