Victoria is in the most unprecedented infrastructure boom of our recent history. The competition for labour, materials and investment is being felt by all industries and in particular, the urban development sector.

With Victoria’s major projects moving into delivery mode, how will local roads get built, how will new utility connections be delivered and most importantly, how steeply are costs rising?

UDIA Victoria’s upcoming policy forum is a much needed industry-wide deep dive into issues including skills and costs in the construction sector and how our industry will be a key player in Victoria’s Big Build.
Make sure you attend UDIA Victoria’s upcoming policy forum to hear from esteemed industry experts on how we can make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime infrastructure boom.

Topics for discussion include:
  • The fierce competition for the skills and labour needed to build our growing communities
  • What are the infrastructure opportunities to leverage?
  • How do we compete for resources with so many massive projects?
Our industry experts coming together to talk through the issues will include Victoria’s Chief Commissioner of the Victorian Building Authority, Bill Kusznirczuk and CEO of the Master Builders Association of Victoria, Rebecca Casson.
