Join us at the highly anticipated Northern Chapter industry lunch together with UDIA members and their guests who work and operate in the growing Greater Bendigo region.

Our government has expressed strong interest in pursuing decentralisation. How can a regional centre like Bendigo capitalise on this sentiment? How do we plan to get it and how do we make it work?

DECENTRALISATION – MYTH OR REALITY?

  • Bendigo is one of the targets for Victorian population growth - can Bendigo capitalise on the government’s promotion of the decentralisation concept?
  • What are the drivers, and what stands in the way of growth for a dry city in the middle of a forest?
  • The housing market is changing rapidly, so let's consider the lifestyle aspects that drive change.
  • Is there a commonly shared vision for Bendigo’s sustainable growth and development as a substantial regional centre?

With the Coalition retaining government after the Federal Election, our guests will be in a position to discuss the Liberal Party's commitments to the region and what they will mean for the future of Greater Bendigo.
