ABOUT UDIA AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE

The Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) actively promotes quality and innovation across the urban development industry.

Through our annual Awards for Excellence program, we recognise and celebrate the best projects of the year, and offer the world a glimpse into the first-class developments happening here in Victoria.

In 2017, we received a record-breaking number of award entries. The high calibre submissions prove that Victoria’s industry has a deep respect for design, development, innovation, sustainability – and most importantly – delivering high quality projects to meet the needs of current and future Victorians.

The winners were announced at UDIA’s 22nd Annual Awards for Excellence Gala Lunch on December 1st, in a room full of more than 1100 industry stakeholders.

BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE UDIA AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE

Publicity: UDIA's Awards for Excellence is a high-profile annual award program that recognises and rewards excellence and innovation in the urban development industry. There are marketing benefits for all entrants, and winners are widely acknowledged by the media, the community and peers.

Networking: The annual UDIA awards ceremony attracts a huge number of attendees, offering participants a valuable opportunity to engage with industry colleagues and build new business contacts in true end-of-year celebratory fashion.

The Victorian UDIA seal: Award winners are entitled to use the official UDIA Victoria Awards seal in their marketing and communications collateral. The seal represents the highest level of project quality assurance.

Brand enhancement: UDIA awards help drive property sales and enhance the reputation of the winners with the public, local and state authorities and other key stakeholders.
